HEALTH SCREENINGS FOR MEN

The Friends for Life Day health screening packages have been put together by men’s and laboratory doctors in order for men to obtain a good overview of their key health indicators.

The packages are aimed at men in two different age groups:

The results will help to determine your:

• current health situation
• risk of cardio-vascular diseases
• occurrence or risk of diabetes
• alcohol- or medicine-induced liver damage
• level of testosterone
• risk of prostate cancer (in men aged 35+)

It is recommended to have your last meal 2-3 hours before giving blood.
Your blood pressure is measured before blood is drawn from your vein.
The results of the blood test and comments from the laboratory doctors will be issued within three working days.
